Modernizing Network Infrastructure for a National Social Security Service
A national social security organization was operating on aging network infrastructure that was increasingly unreliable and difficult to maintain. Their core switches, access routers, and security systems were outdated, leading to performance bottlenecks and potential security risks. They needed a trusted partner to modernize their entire network—without disrupting critical services. That’s where Onelife.tech came in.

Our Solution
We designed and implemented a comprehensive upgrade to the organization’s enterprise network and security infrastructure, replacing legacy systems with modern, high-performance solutions.
🔄 Core & Distribution Network Upgrade
- Replaced Cisco 6509 and 4507 switches with Cisco 6880 core switches and Cisco 6832 distribution switches, delivering faster throughput, improved redundancy, and simplified management.
🖥️ Access Layer Refresh
- Swapped out aging Cisco 2950 access switches for Cisco 3650 switches, enhancing connectivity and supporting higher bandwidth for end-user devices.
🌐 Routing Infrastructure
- Upgraded from Cisco 3945 routers to Cisco ASR 1001-X routers, enabling more efficient traffic handling and better scalability.
🔐 Access Control & Security
- Replaced the legacy Cisco Access Control Server with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) using TACACS+, providing centralized authentication, authorization, and accounting with enhanced security policies.
🧵 Data Center Expansion
- Extended the existing Cisco Nexus 5K switches using Cisco 2248 fabric extenders, improving data center scalability and simplifying cabling and management.
The Impact
- Significant Performance Boost across the network, reducing latency and improving user experience.
- Stronger Security Posture with centralized access control and modern firewall capabilities.
- Improved Manageability through unified infrastructure and simplified device management.
- Future-Ready Architecture capable of supporting digital transformation and service expansion.
